System templates are the templates configured at the Board/Association level. Custom templates typically are designed for the Brokerage/Office or individual.

System templates are found on the Layout Tab and Custom template are found on the Templates tab ... as shown below ...

Custom templates are varied in their designs. Some of the custom templates are single listing templates (e.g. designed to work with individual listings one at a time) and some of the custom templates are designed to "repeat" and therefore can be used with multiple listings at the same time.
